Who runs this website

This is the personal professional website of Tudor-Alexandru Panait, based in Bucharest, Romania. For questions about the website or your information, contact contact@tudorpanait.ro.

When you browse

The site is generated as static pages. It has no visitor account, newsletter signup, contact form, advertising integration or site-authored analytics. Fonts, illustrations and video are served from this website rather than third-party embeds. Links to external profiles and programmes take you to services with their own privacy practices.

The hosting provider necessarily processes technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information and time of access to deliver the site and protect its service. Provider-level security and operational processing are separate from the site’s own code. Cloudflare is the intended static-hosting provider; this disclosure should be reviewed if hosting or provider settings change.

Theme preference

If you use the light/dark theme button, the browser stores a value named tp-theme in local storage on your device. Its only purpose is to remember your colour preference. The website does not transmit that value to me. You can remove it by clearing this website’s local browser data; otherwise your browser controls its retention.

When you contact me

The email link opens your own email application. My contact mailbox uses Microsoft 365 in the Feather environment. If you send a message, your address, name and message content are processed to respond to your enquiry and manage any resulting professional conversation. Please send only information relevant to that purpose. Relevant correspondence may be retained for the conversation and any applicable record-keeping requirements; unrelated material should not be kept unnecessarily.

Your questions and rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable data-protection law, you may have rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. Contact me to discuss a request. You may also contact the Romanian data-protection authority, ANSPDCP. The applicable legal basis and retention period depend on the specific professional interaction; no blanket compliance certification is claimed here.
